Let's Settle the Matter

I spent a very long time beating myself up with my shame and guilt. I would try to not think about all the things I have done wrong, but Satan is really good at not letting one have peace!

One day during my time with the Lord, I realized that by not letting my shame and guilt go, I was denying what Christ did for me on the cross! Then God showed me “Come now, let us settle the matter” (Isaiah 1:18). God was telling me it was over. My past does not define me anymore! “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool” (Is. 1:18).

I have been washed. I have been set free! “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36). There is freedom in Christ and I pray that if you are reading this, you are walking in His freedom.
